"5.12"地震发生时，整个巴蜀大地震得厉害、美丽的村庄、繁华的城市、瞬间化为一片废墟。一个个鲜活的生命掩埋在瓦砾之中。
大灾显大爱、灾难发生后、在第一时间、国家领导人温总理赶到灾区、人民解放军、医生、护士和广大自愿者也从四面八方 finely赶赴灾区，全力投入救援当中。而灾区人民的坚强感染了每个人的心。
在地震发生的那一刻、小学生林浩和一个女同学被埋在废墟中。女同学惊恐地哭泣，林浩安慰她说："不要哭、我们一起唱歌"。林浩爬出来后、冒着余震的危险又救了两名被压在废墟中的同学。
王彬在地震中，不幸被跨落的水泥板"切"掉了右臂。但失去右臂的小王彬在刚能下床走动时、便开始帮助护士阿姨安慰受伤的小朋友。
在汶川，一个男子与几名小孩埋在废墟中，男子的'右脚被压住了，流了许多血，为了生存，他让那些小孩一起喝他的血，并且鼓励孩子门坚持住。一天后，小孩相继被救出，但男子的骨头坏死、又被压在水泥板下。男子向救远队员要了一把锯子，忍着巨痛、锯掉右脚，爬出了废墟。
